Hey! I am Courtney, the artist behind the lens. I have always had a love for photography, even when I was young. Back then I would snap photos with any camera I could get my hands on. I loved having my own disposable camera, and I remember how excited I was when my parents would get the photos developed. Time has changed things a bit and now we have transitioned to mostly digital. However, I still get that same excitement when I am going through my clients photos after our session!

One thing you will learn from working with me is that I am not just your photographer. I genuinely want to get to know you as a person! I love when my clients become friends of mine. I love building that relationship. When you hire me to capture a precious memory and then continue coming back to me for each and every special moment you need captured, it really does mean so much to me. That is a lot of trust to put in someone and I am truly honored each and every time.

You will find out quickly when working with me that I strive to make each and every session fun and enjoyable. I am a goofball and will dance, joke, and be human with you. I know how difficult it can be when you are the one in front of the camera!

Some random facts about me; I am married to my amazing husband Michael and we have a beautiful son together named Gage! He is growing like a weed and I am thankful to capture as much of that as possible. We have three fur babies as well; Needless to say our house is pretty wild on the daily. Before becoming a full time photographer, I was a preschool teacher. I worked with infants all the way to school age. However, my main age group was 3 and 4 year old's. If you get to know me you will quickly learn that I love children and I love capturing their personalities! I have my associates in arts and I have taken various photography courses. I wish to continue my education on photography and I am always looking to learn new things. I love all things horror and Halloween, you will find this out quickly when meeting me. I absolutely love to read as much as possible, mainly horror and thriller novels. The fall is my favorite season and although I am pretty outgoing, I love chilling at home with my family above all else. Most of my hobbies make me seem like an old lady (puzzles, board games, coloring, crafts), but I am completely okay with that!

 

I will do anything I can to capture the perfect photo for a client. The photos I take are memories that will be cherished forever! Photographs are beautiful and can capture emotions, beauty, pain, love, and so much more. Each photo is a gateway into your past or even the experiences of another. One day all we may have to look back on from our lives is photographs so cherish every one!
